Danielle graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a degree in Ethics, Politics and Economics. While at Yale she was the coxswain for a two-time national championship crew team. During her post-college years of travel and exploration, she found her passion in psychology. She achieved her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute for Integral Studies in San Francisco where she had the opportunity to study and train under internationally recognized scholars and counseling professionals at the forefront of the field of psychology.
Danielle’s treatment approach includes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention.
She uses these strategies as a part of an integrative and multi-dimensional approach that considers the whole person – mind, body, emotions and soul – within the greater context of family, community and the world.
She draws on neuroscience, psychodynamic theory, philosophy, spiritual traditions, and science-based psychological research to offer the highest level of effective treatment for her clients.
Danielle regularly has the opportunity to share and further evolve her treatment approach through her work as a consultant to counseling professionals within the United States, Canada, England, New Zealand and Australia.
